Terms of Service

Effective Date: May 1, 2025

Welcome to Newport Rental Company. We’re a family-owned business proudly serving Newport Beach and the greater Orange County area. These Terms of Service outline the agreement between you (“Client”) and Newport Rental Co. (“we,” “us,” or “our”) for all rental services provided. By submitting a quote request, booking with us, or using our services, you agree to the following terms.

Booking & Payment

A 50% deposit is required to reserve rental items. Your booking is not confirmed until the deposit is received.

The remaining balance is due 7 days prior to your event date.

All pricing includes basic delivery and pickup unless otherwise noted. We do not provide full styling or tabletop setup unless prearranged.

We reserve the right to refuse bookings at our discretion.

Cancellations & Order Changes

Cancellations made before the final balance is due (7+ days before the event) will receive a full refund.

Cancellations made within 7 days of the event will receive a 50% refund of the total order amount.

Clients may make changes to their order at no additional charge up to 7 days before the event by emailing us at info@newportrentalco.com.

Order edits within 7 days are not guaranteed and may be subject to availability.

Delivery & Pickup

We provide delivery and pickup to the event location. Full delivery and pickup terms (including timing windows, access expectations, and after-hours details) are available on our Delivery & Pickup page.

Additional fees may apply for locations that are difficult to access (e.g., stairs, long distances from vehicle, tight spaces).

Clients are responsible for ensuring someone is on-site or that the drop-off area is accessible at the agreed time.

All items must be ready for pickup in the same location where they were delivered unless otherwise arranged.

Item Care, Cleaning & Replacement

Clients are responsible for returning all rental items in good condition.

Excessive cleaning fees may be applied. Examples of excessive cleaning fees include but are not limited to: stuck-on food or drink residue, wax spills, confetti or glitter, heavy staining, or water/mud damage.

For bounce houses, we will inspect and spot clean them on-site prior to deflation and pickup. Additional cleaning fees may apply if excessive soiling is present.

All items must be returned in the crates, containers, or packaging they were delivered in. Missing containers may result in a fee.

Missing or damaged items will be billed at their current replacement value, based on our internal pricing list. This list is available upon request.

Clients will have 48 hours to locate and return any missing items before charges are finalized.

Weather, Risk & Liability

Newport Rental Co. is not responsible for damages to items due to inclement weather or outdoor exposure unless otherwise arranged.

Clients are expected to provide proper coverage or move items to a safe location if weather becomes a concern.

Certain items (e.g., bounce houses, hot dog machines, utensils, etc.) may pose risk if used improperly. By renting with us, clients accept full responsibility for the safe and appropriate use of all items.

Newport Rental Co. is not liable for any injury, property damage, or incident resulting from misuse or negligence.

Custom Orders

We are happy to accommodate custom requests. Please submit a note through our contact form or include it in your quote request. All custom orders are subject to availability and may require additional lead time.

Content & Photo Use

We may photograph product setups at events for marketing and promotional purposes.

By booking with us, you grant permission to use event setup photos unless you notify us otherwise in writing.

We will always ask for explicit permission before using any images featuring recognizable individuals or minors, or before using any content as part of long-term branded marketing assets on our website or social media.

General Terms

All rental items are provided in “as-is” condition. Minor signs of wear may be present on vintage or well-loved pieces.

Newport Rental Co. reserves the right to make substitutions of equal or greater value in the rare event of last-minute inventory issues.

By placing an order, the Client agrees to these Terms of Service and accepts responsibility for all charges, care of items, and timely communications.
